Very clean and quiet camping . The staff was very friendly and and helpfull. Bathrooms and service area super clean and fresh. The only minus is that you can't pay with a card - cash only. It was a big problem for us. Many travellers don't have cash and use only credit cards. It was a one night stay and we could not eat at the restaurant. Nowadays credit card payments is a must in turist business. One star less becouse of that.
A fantastic campsite with very friendly & welcoming owners. Fantastic food in the restaurant, excellent local knowledge about the stunning surroundings & I would certainly recommend visiting this unique location. The natural swimming pool in a tranquil garden was the icing on the cake for a truly magnificent stay.
Best place to stay in Murtal area
Fantastic facilities as its attached to a hotel.
Only accepts cash 37E (Aug 2022). Quite village about a mile down the road.

No children and no dogs! That sounds a bit inhospitable, but it is simply a principle that you have to accept. And if you do that, this campsite is particularly beautiful. It is one large park-like environment with a lot of diversity in nature, with various trees, shrubs and flowers, and a swimming pond. The sanitary facilities are top notch, the pitches are spacious, the facilities are more than sufficient and the people are hospitable. Yes, the occasional fighter jet and yes, at the very back, a freight train passes slowly by a few times a day, but I didn't experience it as disturbing. With the supermarket within walking distance you have everything you need. Criticisms; yes, the entire campsite is 300 meters long, so if you are at the very back, the shower is a long walk (and back again). Furthermore, the nature immediately surrounding the campsite is not very appealing, you have to cycle a kilometer before it becomes more exciting. For campers who are used to camper pitches, the place is a bit pricey, but that is what it is a campsite for. All in all a pleasant experience.
Beautifully located campsite with many pluses but also a few minuses. There is a camping site on the site for those seeking peace and quiet. A freight train regularly passes very close to the campsite and the daily exercises with fighter jets from the nearby airport do not help either. The shower facility is a very far walk from the rear of the campsite, so you have to walk all the way to the front to wash the dishes. It would be nice if there was a washing-up location halfway along. What I found very annoying was that you cannot leave the campsite during the afternoon rest. The campsite is then closed for a few hours. When the owner drives by on his golf cart, he pays no attention to his guests at all, no greetings or anything like that, I'm really not shy about a chat, but raising your hand is no problem, I think. Furthermore, we had a great time and a beautiful area for cycling with super nice spacious pitches with water, TV connection and drainage.
